RCB Has Finalized Its Home Ground Venues for the Upcoming Season
Royal Challengers Bangalore have finalized their venues for IPL 2026. RCB, whose home ground has traditionally been the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, have decided to change their venue this season.
As per the decision, the Chinnaswamy Stadium will not be included among IPL 2026 venues. This decision has been taken due to safety concerns. In IPL 2026, RCB will play their home matches at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai and Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Raipur.
According to the IPL league format, each team plays 50 percent of its matches at home venues. Since every franchise will play 14 league matches in IPL 2026, each team will play seven matches at home venues and seven matches at other venues.
Now, as per the RCB 2026 Schedule, they will play their seven home league matches across the Mumbai and Raipur cricket stadiums, while the remaining seven matches will be played at other venues.
However, playoff and qualifier matches are finalized separately. The venues for these matches are selected based on the teams involved, and the final decision is taken according to the points table standings.
